This early design project challenged me to create an intricate arch structure that fit within a 6x18x6-inch volume. The process began with meticulous sketching and a linework drawing, emphasizing the development of new patterns and spatial relationships. The design focuses on intricate curves and layered spaces, pushing the boundaries of form and geometry. These initial explorations laid the foundation for a structure that is both visually compelling and architecturally precise.

The concept was brought to life through a physical model, translating the intricate patterns and curves from the drawings into three-dimensional form. This model captures the interplay of space, light, and shadow, highlighting the complexity of the design. The project exemplifies an early exploration of pattern-making and structural articulation, showcasing a thoughtful approach to creating elegant, intricate forms.
